Location: the hotel was close to the Post Office and Sule Pagoda and other colonial old buildings, churches, mosques, chinese and indian temples, Bogyoke market, and the local market near Singapore Food Court and Bogyoke market. I found there a great selection of restaurants to eat, like Bharat Indian Restaurant that is only 5 minutes' walk away...

It was a good location for us, close enough to a quiet neighbourhood, Bogyoke market and centre of city `. The room we had included climate control, TV, and a mini-fridge-bar.

The bed may be uncomfortable for some guests.

I recently had a very pleasant stay at a hotel in downtown area in Yangon. The location is quite good as it is situated in the heart of the city, making it convenient to explore the attractions and find some great dining options nearby. The staff at this hotel were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests we had, which made us feel well taken care of. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with a cozy double bed that ensured a good night's sleep. Additionally, breakfast was included in the room rate, offering a variety of options to satisfy different preferences.
I was very satisfied with my stay and found that everything met my expectations.

Good Breakfast and Nice Staff
During my Christmas stay, the breakfast was quite good with a variety of dishes to select. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. the hotel's proximity to the downtown area was a plus.
The hotel rooms are very basic and the bathrooms are outdated. Some rooms are better than others and the pricing varies, depending on who was at the front desk.

The holiday season in Myanmar was great, but the hotel where we stayed was not quite as enjoyable. In fairness, the amenities provided were not entirely bad. Two complimentary drinks and a few snacks were a nice touch, and the hotel's proximity to local attractions was a real plus. the room was spacious and comfortable, with a strong wifi connection throughout our entire stay.

Despite the fact that the room was a bit old and in need of renovation, City Hotel offered good value for money. The bed was comfortable, and the room had hot water and decent wifi. The hotel's location was also convenient for exploring the city. However, it would be better if they could improve the breakfast options and ban smoking. I would recommend this hotel for those looking for decent accommodation at an affordable price.
